Dudes. We are still sick.
We have been in PJs for days (or yoga pants, which are basically the same thing). We have watched so much Sesame Street that I’m starting to dream about Elmo & twinkle-thinking.
We are hydrating & resting & eating healthy (I made us brown rice & sweet potatoes for lunch yesterday!)
Luckily (or sadly) we have no plans for Thanksgiving, aside from making Keller’s roast chicken, oven-baked potatoes & green beans… And watching movies.
Which would be great if that wasn’t how Ruby and I have spent the last couple days. So over it.
I was thinking about attempting to make a pie… But then I remembered I don’t actually have a pie-filling. Hmmm. And I’m certainly not going to the grocery store tonight. Yikes.
So I guess I’ll just keep doing this:

Hi Squeaker Mom! I am quite shocked, and pleased, that you are planning on having just about the same Thanksgiving meal as we are, especially the Keller Roast Chicken and green beans! How ironic is that? I am also going to smash some potatoes and serve them with pan gravy. I am making an Apple Cranberry cake with a recipe from the Barefoot Contessa for dessert, topped with whipped cream of course…wouldn’t be a Holiday in your mother’s house without whipped cream….
Hoping that whatever bug you have does not linger on, and that you will shortly return to your stunning, wonderful, self.
